Cinthia Gomez was born in Morelia, michoacAn and raised in Houston, texas since the age of three. in 2013, gomez received her bachelor of fine arts degree in studio art with a concentration in sculpture from the university of houston. her interest lies in mindless tasks, deconstructing materials for no significant purpose other than the process of doing it, and drawing silly things. she is currently the exhibition and program coordinator at lawndale art center and a resident artist at box 13 artspace.
